Sweet & Salty Spiced Almonds
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup of raw almonds
1 tbsp of egg white
1.5 tbsp Swerve icing sweetener
1 tbsp steak spice
To make the steak spice: In a small mason jar combine 2 tbsp coarse black pepper, 1 tsp paprika, 2 tbsp coarse sea salt, 1 tbsp garlic powder, 1 tbsp onion powder, 1 tbsp coriander seeds, 1 tbsp dill seeds, 1 tsp cayenne (optional). Shake well to combine. Store for up to 6 months.
PROCEDURE:
Preheat the oven to 300°F.
Mix the nuts with the egg white, sweetener and steak spice until very well combined, and all the nuts are coated.
Spread the nuts out on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20-30 minutes. Allow to cool completely before serving. Once completely cooled, store in an airtight container for up to 1 month.
